Trio of Memorial Plaques in Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Beit Jala

Contributed by Leyla Zuaiter on 02.02.2006:

In the Beit Jala Greek Orthodox Cemetery, most of the graves are slotted into openings in the wall, which are then covered by a memorial plaque. Newer plaques have an image of the deceased framed by ornamental stonework. Built in flower holders of angels or saints are partially covered here by flowers. Original Content Creator: Leyla Zuaiter
