There is a huge body of scholarly literature on Artas dating back to the early twentieth century.More recently, Falestin Naili, Virtual Scholar in Residence, has written many works reviewing older works and breaking new ground. In fact we were quite surprised to find the Artas Folklore Center itself under her scholarly lens.Below is only a partial sampling of the works available, selected by Falestin, who submitted her dissertation on the Collective Memory in Artas in 2007. For aid in accessing some of these works, contact the Artas Folklore Center.
