Spring Hike with the Palestine Wildlife Society, Artas Lettuce Festival 2008

Over 150 people brought by different organizations participated in the Nature and Heritage Walk led by the Palestine Wildlife Society, enjoying what is left of the Artas Valley, whose natural beauty and archeological sites are under increasing threat.

After their hike, the visitors were ready for a delicious homecooked meal of Musakkhen, cooked by Artas Rural Women's Unit of the Artas Folklore Center in their Judhour-funded community kitchen.
