Worn by women of the Bethlehem area. The front is covered with rows of coins, beads and coral. The shatweh was only worn by married women and widows. This Palestinian collection is located in Turathuna Center which is a center for Palestinian Heritage at Bethlehem University. Donated by Mrs. Elizabeth Moley.
