MARY MASRIEH ELALI, originally from Bethlehem and wife of the late Giries Nicola Elali publisher of "Bethlehem - the immortal city", has just completed and published her memories in a book with the Portuguese title "Na palma de mao". Translated as "In the palm of the hand".

Mary described her 300-page book as her memories specifically written for her children, grandchildren, sons and daughters-in-law, as well as family members and friends, now living in a land that is totally different from where she was born and raised.

The book makes very interesting reading for those who read Portuguese. Hopefully Mary will consider translating it to English..
