Bethlehem 1986 - Alice Canawati Nasser and her daughter Audice, at the double-window of the Canawati House on Anatreh Street.

The square opening above the windows not only provided ventilation (natural air-conditioning), but also served as a cooler (refrigerator) for a water jug, a milk container, and a cut of meat.
