In this photograph, on the left side, appears the house of the Musallam family (Miselem in Mexico and Honduras). This house, the second one in the corner, beside the minaret, was from my grand father, Khalil Musallem, who immigrated to America. He lived in Chetumal, Mexico, from 1904 to 1924, before immigrated to Honduras, where he died. My father, Antonio Miselem, was born in Mexico but lived in Palestine from 1930 to 1937. He used to live in that house. My father was part of the Palestinian rebellion in the 1930's. He studied at the French college La Salle and was in jail for a few weeks after organized a student’s demonstration.

The house doesn’t exists any more because de square was amplified in the 1960 and a lot of buildings were destroyed.CHEERS FROM MEXICO!!!
